Service

Selecting a skilled and competent farrier is one of the most important decisions you will make for your horses health. Poor quality hoofcare doesn't just look bad, but it can also lead to poor performance and even long term lameness issues. You want a farrier that knows the anatomy of a horse's hoof and legs, as well as their function. Your farrier should be able to see potential problems and have the ability to address them properly before they become costly and irreversible problems.

Having many years of service does not necessarily mean that your farrier is capable of tending to your horses issues in the most beneficial way possible. The hoofcare industry is constantly evolving, and it takes an active focus on continuing education to keep up with how to best to care for your horse and their individual needs.

With The Farrier Geek you get the highest quality service available every time, on every horse. Keeping up with current technology and methods is of an utmost importance to us, but not at the expense of proven traditional skills and methods.

We service all breeds and disciplines from Mini's to Shire's, english / western, and gaited.

Specializing in the Tennessee Walking Horse, and the American Saddlebred, we have the knowledge and ability to keep your gaited horse working at their best. From the backyard trail horse to high end park horses we have you covered.

We are not a "production" farrier service, we take whatever time is needed to do what each individual horse needs and do it to the best of our ability. Do not expect us to offer discounts or compete with other farriers prices. The service you get from us far exceeds what most other farriers offer, and we charge what is fair for that level of service.

Centrally located in Caldwell Texas, The Farrier Geek regularly services Bryan/College Station, Brenham, Cameron, Giddings, and the surrounding areas. Service outside of our normal service area is available, call or e-mail for details.

With The Farrier Geek you get top quality service, with great attention to detail that you just can't find anywhere else.
